Match odds margins were competitive on top European leagues, sitting in line with mid-tier European sportsbooks and a fraction wider than sharp exchange-style operators.

Coverage stretched across more than thirty sports including football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, MMA, handball, rugby league, cricket, snooker and a strong esports book covering CS:GO, League of Legends and Dota 2. Niche options like floorball, chess and table tennis were permanently available, which suited bettors who wanted something beyond Saturday football. UK-centric sports were a weak spot: greyhound racing was absent and horse racing coverage rarely went below the main meetings.

Live Betting and Streaming

In-play betting ran on the same BetConstruct engine with fast odds refresh, a persistent bet slip, and cash-out available on most singles and accumulators. The in-play page typically carried a healthy volume of live events at peak weekend hours.

Live streaming was the review’s biggest weakness. LV Bet offered no native video for football, tennis or horse racing, a clear gap against the tier-one UK brands whose streaming libraries were a central part of the in-play experience. Visualisations (pitch diagrams with real-time events) were included for football and tennis but did not replace a live feed. If video was a deal-breaker, LV Bet was not the right choice even when it was available in the UK.

Payments, Withdrawals and Limits

UK deposit methods covered Visa, Mastercard (until the April 2020 credit card ban), Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller, Trustly, Paysafecard and bank transfer. E-wallet top-ups credited instantly. Withdrawals were where LV Bet’s reputation took its worst knocks. Under the UKGC licence, LV Bet offered the standard suite: deposit limits, loss limits, session time reminders, self-exclusion through GAMSTOP, and links to GamCare and BeGambleAware. What did not: no live streaming at all, shorter live chat hours than the top UK brands, a withdrawal fee structure that penalised regular cash-outs, patchy horse racing coverage, no Best Odds Guaranteed, and a recurring pattern of withdrawal delays on user-reported reviews. The UK market exit in 2022 is now the defining issue, none of the above is available to British bettors.
