Google Pay Betting Sites

Google Pay (GPay) lets you deposit at betting sites using the card stored in your Google Wallet. You tap to pay – no card numbers to type, no bank login needed. It works on Android phones and in Chrome on any device.

Below is our list of UK betting sites that accept Google Pay deposits.
How Google Pay Works at Betting Sites
Google Pay pulls funds from whatever debit card you have linked in your Google Wallet. When you deposit at a betting site, you select Google Pay in the cashier, confirm the amount, and authenticate with your fingerprint, face, or PIN. The money lands in your betting account instantly.
The betting site never sees your actual card number. Google Pay creates a virtual token for each transaction, so your real card details stay private. This is the same security layer used when you tap your phone at a shop.
Deposits with Google Pay
Deposits are instant at every betting site that supports Google Pay. The minimum is usually £5-£10 depending on the bookmaker. No fees from Google Pay itself, and most bookmakers do not charge for GPay deposits either.
Google Pay deposits count towards welcome bonuses at most UK bookmakers – unlike Skrill and Neteller which are often excluded from promotional offers. If you plan to claim a free bet or deposit match, Google Pay is a safe choice.
Can You Withdraw to Google Pay?
Most betting sites do not support Google Pay withdrawals. When you cash out, the money goes back to the underlying debit card linked to your Google Wallet, not to Google Pay itself. Withdrawal times depend on the card – typically 1-3 business days.
A few bookmakers have started offering Google Pay as a withdrawal method, but it is not common yet. Check the cashier section of your chosen site before depositing if this matters to you.
Google Pay vs Other Mobile Payment Methods
Apple Pay is the iPhone equivalent. Same idea, same speed, same tokenisation. If you are on Android, you use Google Pay. If you are on iPhone, you use Apple Pay. Most betting sites that accept one also accept the other.
PayPal requires logging in and has an extra step, but the trade-off is that you can withdraw directly to your PayPal balance. With Google Pay, cashouts go back to your card instead.
Trustly takes a different approach entirely – it connects to your bank account directly, no card involved. Slower to set up than a tap, but useful if you do not want to use a card at all.
Which Devices Support Google Pay for Betting?
Google Pay works on Android phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later with NFC capability. It also works in the Chrome browser on desktops and laptops through Google Wallet. You do not need a specific phone brand – any Android device with Google Play Services will work.
If you use an iPhone, Google Pay is not available for contactless payments, but you can use it through Chrome. For mobile tap-to-pay betting deposits on iPhone, use Apple Pay instead.
Setting Up Google Pay
If you have not used Google Pay before, download the Google Wallet app from the Play Store, add a UK debit card, and verify it. The whole process takes a few minutes. Once set up, you can use Google Pay at any betting site that supports it.
Can I use Google Pay at betting sites?
Yes. Many UK bookmakers accept Google Pay for deposits. You tap to pay using the card stored in your Google Wallet. Deposits are instant and the betting site never sees your card number.
Can I withdraw to Google Pay?
Most betting sites do not support Google Pay withdrawals directly. Cashouts go back to the debit card linked to your Google Wallet, typically taking 1-3 business days.
Is Google Pay safe for betting?
Yes. Google Pay uses tokenisation, meaning the betting site receives a virtual account number rather than your real card details. Transactions are authenticated with fingerprint, face, or PIN.
Does Google Pay work on iPhone?
Google Pay works in Chrome on iPhone for web payments but does not support contactless tap-to-pay on iOS. For tap-to-pay deposits on iPhone, use Apple Pay instead.
Are Google Pay deposits eligible for free bets?
Yes. Google Pay deposits qualify for welcome bonuses and free bets at most UK bookmakers, unlike Skrill and Neteller which are often excluded.
