London.Bet
London.Bet is one of the newest independent bookmakers in Britain. It opened in 2025 with a sportsbook, a casino and a rewards scheme that pays regular punters back in free bets. It is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission through Thistle Bet Limited, account number 66162.

For this review we went through the London.Bet website and its help centre in October 2026: the sportsbook, the sign-up form, the rewards terms, the betting rules and the full terms and conditions. We checked the company on the Gambling Commission register and at Companies House, and we compared its prices with other independent bookmakers on the same afternoon.

Who is behind London.Bet
Thistle Bet Limited was incorporated in December 2024 and received its licence in March 2025. Companies House lists two companies with significant control, each holding between a quarter and a half of the shares. The business is registered in Cardiff, at the same address as the Welsh bookmaker DragonBet, and one of its two shareholders shares an address with the parent of BetWright. So London.Bet is a new brand with experienced bookmaking people around it. Our independent bookmakers page maps those links.
London.Bet describes itself as a premium sports betting site and online casino, built by a team with deep industry experience, with a distinctly British flair. Its stated aim is an accessible and beautifully simple betting experience.
The website and sportsbook
The main menu has seven tabs: Sports, In Play, Virtuals, Casino, Live Casino, Rewards and Safer Gambling. Giving Rewards and Safer Gambling a tab each, at the same level as the sportsbook, is unusual and says something about what the brand wants you to see first.
The homepage on our visit opened with a row of featured matches, each with its TV channel, kick-off time and three prices you could add straight to the bet slip. Below that came Top Events, with the full Premier League and Championship coupon for the weekend and the Scottish Premiership, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 after it. A Next Races strip showed the next horse races with the first three in the betting.
London.Bet gave more room to American sport than any other independent we looked at. The featured row included two NHL games and a Major League Baseball game, and the Top Events block carried the whole NFL week with money line, spread and total points. If you follow those leagues, that front-page space saves time.
The A to Z sports list runs from American football to TV specials and includes Australian rules, cycling, darts, Formula One, hurling, greyhound racing, handball, ice hockey, both rugby codes and snooker.
Capital Gains: the rewards scheme
The rewards scheme is the main reason to pick London.Bet over a similar bookmaker. It is called Capital Gains, and it works on rebates. You opt in to a promotion, you bet as normal, and you earn free bets in proportion to what you stake at qualifying odds.
The names tell you the sport. When we read through the help centre we found a daily and a weekly Royal Rebate, a Ruck Rebate, a Re-Rack Rebate, Cricket Cashback, Bullseye Bounceback, Football Fallback and Knockout Knockback, plus one-off rebates for big matches. Each has its own page of terms.
How a rebate works, from the terms we read:
- You opt in on the Capital Gains rewards page during the promotion.
- Free bets build up as you stake on the qualifying event at the minimum odds.
- You can cash in what you have built up at any time before the promotion ends.
- You can run more than one rebate at the same time, which London.Bet calls stacking.
- Free bets must be used soon after you claim them, so claim when you are ready to bet.
Accounts sit in three tiers, Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond, and the rebates are open to customers who hold one of them. For a punter who bets most weeks, a scheme like this returns more over a season than a single welcome offer. Horse racing and football limits
London.Bet covers UK and Irish racing daily along with international meetings. On the 5:01 at Leicester on 6 October 2026 it was 6/4 about the favourite, a bigger price than one better-known racing independent offered at the same time.
The terms let one customer win up to £100,000 in a day across all sports. UK and Irish racing singles and multiples are covered to £75,000 and forecasts and tricasts to £25,000. Top-level football is covered to £50,000 and the main greyhound meetings to £20,000. For the stakes most people bet, those limits will never come into play. Cash out
Cash out is offered on selected bets, markets and events, both before the start and in play. The amount offered reflects the chance of your bet winning now compared with when you placed it. In-play offers carry the same short delay as in-play bets, and cash out is not offered on free bets. Once you accept an offer it is final.
Opening an account
We opened the sign-up form to see what it asks for. It starts under the heading "Let's get you started" with your email address, a password and an optional promo code, and takes your personal details on the next screens. The help centre has a section on account management that covers verification and how to change your details.
Deposits and withdrawals
London.Bet accepts Visa debit, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards. The card must be in your own name, and you deposit from inside your account.
The help centre explains withdrawals in more detail than most. London.Bet follows what it calls the Net Deposits Rule: money goes back to each card up to the amount you paid in with that card before any can go to another. Its own example is a customer who deposits £70 on one card and £50 on another. If you use one card, none of this applies and the withdrawal goes straight back to it. Our advice is simple: use one card.
Customer support
Help is organised as a searchable help centre with sections for account management, deposits and withdrawals, promotions, sports betting, safer gambling and terms. The sports betting section alone has rules articles for each sport, from football and cricket to speedway and winter sports. There is a chat window on every page and a published complaints procedure.
Casino
The casino and live casino sit under the same login as the sportsbook, and there is a virtual sports tab. There are apps for iOS and Android.
Safer gambling tools
Safer gambling has its own tab in the main menu and its own section in the help centre, covering gambling controls and where to find support. London.Bet is part of GAMSTOP.
Who London.Bet suits
London.Bet suits the regular punter who wants a steady return on normal betting. The Capital Gains rebates reward the customer who bets every week across football, rugby, cricket and the other main sports. It also suits fans of the NFL, NHL and baseball, who get front-page coverage here.
